Another quick Blog about the CPS-Pumps KTG vertical inline product line.  The KTG products are used in a variety of applications where an inline suction and discharge piping connection is preferred in the field.  These are compact and efficient pumps that can be easily inserted into existing system piping.  This pump is being used for circulator service in a commercial application.  It is a 3×3-10 operating at 3500 RPM, generating a significant amount of pressure.  The close-coupled 75 HP motor makes for a very compact installation.

The biggest advantage to the CPS-Pumps KTG vertical inline product line is the shaft and bracket assembly design.  This unique design standardizes on a NEMA C-Face motor, not a JM design, and includes a 420 stainless steel pump shaft.  This allows for the use of standard, stocked C-Face motors through the entire NEMA size range (56C to 449TC).  This size range allows for an enormous hydraulic offering with sizes from 1.25×2-5 to a 14×14-16.  A variety of motor enclosures are available not limiting other JM customers to an ODP type.  Enclosures including TEFC, Explosion Proof, Washdown Duty, etc can be used on the KTG vertical inline product line by using the standard design.

Fully assembled pumps can be shipped without a driver and the driver can be swapped in the field without a complete pump disassembly.  These features make this product line very easy to work with.

KTG products are available for use in Fire Protection applications as well.
