CPS Mechanical Seals

A great majority of CPS-Pumps that are shipped have some type of mechanical seal installed.  CPS-Pumps has manufactured mechanical seals for nearly 20 years and do so in a variety of seal types.  Component and cartridge seals are available in nearly every product line offer by CPS-Pumps today.  These mechanical seals are available in a variety of sizes and have a number of construction options.

CPS-21 Component Seals

This seal type is the standard component mechanical seal offered in the CPS-Pumps end suction and split case product lines.  The standard construction features a Carbon rotary face, a Silicon Carbide stationary face, Viton elastomers and 316 stainless steel hardware.

CPS-1 Component Seals

This seal type is the optional component mechanical seal offered in the CPS-Pumps end suction and split case product lines and standard in the multistage split case, ANSI & vertical turbine product lines.  The standard construction features a Carbon rotary face, a Silicon Carbide stationary face, Viton elastomers and 316 stainless steel hardware.

CPS-50B Cartridge Seals

This seal type is the optional balanced, single cartridge mechanical seal offered in the CPS-Pumps end suction, split case, ANSI & vertical turbine product lines.  It is a multi spring, o-ring, balanced seal with an inlet for seal lubrication on the gland.  The standard construction features a Carbon rotary face, a Silicon Carbide stationary face, Viton elastomers and 316 stainless steel hardware.

CPS-60B Cartridge Seals

This seal type is the optional balanced, double cartridge mechanical seal offered in the CPS-Pumps end suction, split case, ANSI & vertical turbine product lines.  It is a multi spring, o-ring, balanced seal with an inlet & outlet (barrier fluid) for seal lubrication on the gland.  The standard construction features a Carbon rotary face, a Silicon Carbide stationary face, Viton elastomers and 316 stainless steel hardware.
