The two splitcase pumps in this post are being used in an industrial application circulating cooling water.  Both are packed and have been factory aligned prior to shipment.  They also feature OSHA compliant coupling guards, Wrapflex couplings, TECO electric motors and standard bent channel bases.

The SP splitcase product line has a very unique inspection feature.  Each of the bearing housings and bearings can be inspected and/or removed without removing the casing top.  This simple, yet powerful specifiable feature, saves countless hours during the inspection and repair process.  Centerline slots between the casing top and bottom also allow for easy disassembly of the casing when the need arises.  Heavy wall casings, 420 stainless steel shafts, the smallest flange to flange dimensions in the industry, external o-rings on the shaft sleeves and removable seal chambers are other specifiable features that the engineering community has grown to respect.
